Ki Tisah 21-4

When you lift up

Exodus 33:17-23

And the LORD said, "Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock..."

Ex. 33:21 ESV

Is there a place for me by the Eternal?

The Eternal showed Moshe Rabbenu that there was a place close to Him where Moshe could enter and gaze at the beauty of the Eternal. Moshe had said that he wanted to know the Eternal and His ways and see His glory. The Eternal granted him his wish because Moshe had found grace in His eyes. Due to his way of being and his heart's attitude he could approach the Eternal's presence more and more.

Moshe had tasted the Eternal's kindness and that's why what he wanted the most was to be close to Him. He refused to continue the journey with the sons and daughters of Israel if the Eternal didn't promise to walk with them. His yearning for being with his Heavenly Father is a great example to all of us.

When the Eternal wanted to show Moshe His glory He told him that there was a place by Him on the rock. This teaches us that there is a place for all men on earth beside the Eternal.

There is a place for you, dear disciple. Only you can fill that place. Only you can seek that place and take it, because it is designed only and exclusively for you. If you don't take it, no one else will and you will be missing in the presence of the Eternal.

Get up every morning and take that place before the Eternal. Pray and praise, study and learn and then live the life you receive from your Father.

That place is on the rock and that rock is the Messiah. Because of Yeshua the Messiah, everyone will be able to achieve intimacy with the Eternal.

Blessed be His name for that!

Ketriel
