Words/things

Deuteronomy 1: 1-39 2:1

But the LORD said to me, "Tell them, 'Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you. You will be defeated by your enemies.' "So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the LORD's command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country. The Amorites who lived in those hills came out against you; they chased you like a swarm of bees and beat you down from Seir all the way to Hormah.

Deut. 1:42-44 NIV

What is men's eternal problem?

The Eternal had said not to go up and fight to avoid being defeated by their enemies. The people didn't listen and they went up to fight. The Eternal wasn't with them and they had to flee before their enemies and they were defeated.

What was the problem?

They didn't take heed to what the Eternal had said. That's the eternal problem of all men. Their first sin was not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The second sin was not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The third sin was not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The fourth was sin not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The fifth sin was not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The sixth...

The 10000th sin was not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded. The last sin will be not to pay attention to what the Eternal commanded.

When will men learn to pay attention and do what the Eternal has commanded?

Kol tuv,

Ketriel
